PURPOSE: To provide a cover-like component mounting structure wherein the appearance is improved, and a positioning part is prevented from being destroyed, and further reliability upon mounting/demounting operation is secured, by preventing any gap from being produced.

CONSTITUTION: A cover-like component is 4 demountably fitted to an opening part 3a of a casing structure 2. The cover-like component 4 includes a pawl part 12 protruding from opposing edge parts toward the outside. A pawl part 12 is inserted into the rear surface side from the opening edge part of the casing structure 2 and held in its state where it is prevented from being slipped. A substantially predetermined sectional configuration positioning piece 13 is projected from a part different from a pawl protrusion part of the peripheral edge part of the cover-like component 4 toward the rear surface side. The positioning piece 13 is inserted into a stopper hole 10 in a supporting piece 11 formed on the opening edge part of the casing structure 2 to fix the cover-like component 4 at a location where it is fitted.
