Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability, and to ensure watertightness.
SOLUTION: In the mounting structure of a cover material 4 covering the lower end section of the external facing material 3 of a building, an elastic body 6 is interposed between the upper end section of the cover material 4 and the lower end face of the external facing material 3 while the cover material 4 is fixed onto a mounting base body 14 by an oblique upward fixture 17. A mounting surface 8 inclined obliquely downwards is formed to the cover material 4 at that time, and the fixture 17 is penetrated to the mounting surface 8. Accordingly, the elastic body 6 is compressed at specified pressure between the upper end section of the cover material 4 and the lower end face of the external facing material 3 by the cover material 4 and watertightness is ensured because the cover material 4 is set up by the obliquely upward fixture 17 and fixed onto the base body 14 by penetrating the mounting surface 8 under the state, in which the elastic body 6 is interposed between the upper end section and the lower end face.
