Abstract:
To provide a cover for a portable type lathe which can improve workability in work-piece cutting work, and a portable type lathe.SOLUTION: A cover body 10 has a cylindrical part 10a, a first wall 10b, and a second wall 10c. The cylindrical part 10a is cylindrical and is provided with an exhaust port 10f on a peripheral wall thereof, and a lathe body 101, a movable part 102 and a tool module 104 are located inside the cylindrical part. The first wall 10b blocks a - Y direction side of the cylindrical part 10a, and is provided with a first opening 10d for insertion of a work-piece W1 at a central part thereof, and an outer peripheral part of the first opening 10d is fixed in the - Y direction side of the lathe body 101. The second wall 10c blocks a + Y direction side of the cylindrical part 10a, and is provided with a second opening 10e, of which an inner diameter dimension is larger than at least an outer diameter dimension of the work-piece W1, at a central part thereof. A lid body 125 is provided on the cylindrical part 10a, and can take a closed state that covers the exhaust port 10f and an open state that does not cover the exhaust port 10f.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
