PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering material which can prevent the inside of a house from becoming high temperature and high humidity, and has a favorable heat insulating property or the like by using a tape-form yarn wherein on both surfaces of a low density polyethylene/ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, a high density polyethylene layer is formed, and a far-infrared ray absorbing agent is blended, and the light permeating ratio and the strength are specified.
SOLUTION: On both surfaces of a low density polyethylene layer of which the specific gravity is less than 0.935 or an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, a high density polyethylene layer of which the specific gravity is 0.935 or higher is formed, and a tape-form yarn which is excellent in dimensional stability, mechanical capability and light permeability is formed. Also, in order to ensure the heat insulating property, a far infrared ray absorbing agent is blended by 1-15 wt.% based on the tape-form yarn weight, and the light permeating ratio is made 80% or higher, and from the viewpoint of weaving property, the strength of the tape-form yarn is made 1,500 kg/cm2 or higher, and thus, holes and cracks are prevented from arising on one part or the total surface by a protuberance or friction, and cracks or the like are made hard to expand due to a physical force such as wind or the like.
