PURPOSE: To prevent the run-off and suction of the soil of reclamation by a method in which many small soft sheet pieces fixed to the back side to be placed on the bottom ground of a wide sheet.

CONSTITUTION: The side ends of a flexible sheet of polyvinyl chloride are connected water-tightly to form a wide sheet 1, and many small pieces 5 of the same material as the sheet 1, having adequate length and width, are fixed at their one ends to the back side 11a of the tip 11 of the sheet 1 to form a covering sheet A. In constructing a reclamation revetment on the sea coast, the sheet A is placed from the top end to the slope and bottom grout of the reclamation site. The runoff and suction of the soil of reclamation from between the back side 11a of the tip 11 of the sheet A and the bottom ground can be prevented by the small pieces 5 provided to the back side 11a.
