To provide a coverlet which prevents a coverlet body from inflating unnaturally and makes a user hardly feel odd or uncomfortable even when the coverlet is provided with function materials like, for example, fragrance bags.

The coverlet has a perfume cushion 3 attachable and detachable to and from the coverlet body. The coverlet body has a cushion housing section formed like a pipe on a neck side. The perfume cushion 3 is provided with bag housing sections 32 and 32 capable of freely attachably and detachably housing the fragrance bags 5 of a rectangular shape in plane view in juxtaposition at required intervals in a longitudinal direction. The approximate external form of the perfume cushion 3 is formed by putting packing materials 6 like feathers between front cloth 331 and rear cloth 332 and seaming thererbetween. Block sheets 7 and 7 are seamed between the front cloth 331 and the rear cloth 332 are segmented from the segments containing the packing materials 6, by which the housing space sections 8 of the fragrance bags 5 are constituted. The respective block sheets 7 are formed in a mesh form and have air permeability.
