Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowl louver which can prevent water from entering a duct without the need for providing a water shielding plate in a cowl box, and can suppress a decrease in intake efficiency.SOLUTION: A cowl louver 10 is disposed between a windshield of a vehicle and an engine hood to block a gap therebetween, and comprises a cover part 12 for covering an intake port 11 that is opened in a vertical direction for introducing outside air into a vehicle interior. The cover part 12 includes: a side wall part 12a erecting upward from one side edge of the intake port 11; and a water shielding part 12b extending from an upper edge of the side wall part 12a toward the intake port 11 side and covering the upper part of the intake port 11. An opening 12c is provided on a side face on the other side edge side of the intake port 11 facing the side wall part 12a. It is preferable that a plurality of air intake ports and cover parts 12 are juxtaposed in a longer direction of the cowl louver 10.
