PURPOSE: To facilitate the model releasing of a cowl louver and prevent its deformation by providing mold release ribs integrally formed of synthetic resin, hangingly at the lower face of a cowl louver body, in the positions corresponding to shielding ribs.
CONSTITUTION: At both lateral end parts of the lower face of a cowl louver body 11, mold release ribs 13 formed of synthetic resin almost into the same curved plate shape as shielding ribs 12 are integrally formed in the positions corresponding to the respective shielding ribs 12, hangingly so as to be symmetrical to the shielding ribs 12 with the cowl louver body 11 held in between. At the mold release time of a cowl louver, the shielding rib 12 is thereby positioned on the movable mold A side, and the mold release rib 13 is positioned at a part corresponding to the fixed mold B side. Contact resistance between the shielding rib 12 and the movable mold A, and contact resistance between the mold release rib 13 and the fixed mold Bare thereby offset to prevent the lowering of mold releasing performance at the end part of the cowl louver.
