Abstract:
To provide a cowl top cover which can absorb small impact energy, smoothly causes deformation when great impact energy is given, and can stably absorb the impact energy.SOLUTION: A cowl top cover (10, 30, 50) has a first deformation part causing deformation that reduces dimension in a height direction when impact load (F) is given by a front hood (3). The cowl top cover has: a seal support part (21, 41, 61) supporting a seal member (4) the front hood (3) is in contact with; a projection rib (22, 42, 62) that is arranged in a front end part of the seal support part (21, 41, 61) and projects to a rear surface of the front hood (3); and a second deformation part (23, 43, 63) arranged in adjacency to a front end part or a rear end part of the seal support part (21, 41, 61). The second deformation part (23, 43, 63) has a shape deformed by impact load (F) given when the front hood (3) collides with the projection rib (22, 42, 62) before deformation occurs to the first deformation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
