Abstract:
To provide a cowling for a child seat that can be reliably and readily mounted on a child seat of a baby buggy such as a child seat apparatus to be attached to a bicycle, that has shape retainability which is high enough to resist deformation derived from an adverse effect such as wind, and that accordingly will neither adversely affect driving of the bicycle or traveling of the baby buggy nor give a sense of narrowness, a sense of compression, or a discomfort due to weather or cold to a child seated on the child seat.SOLUTION: A cowling for a child seat includes: a pair of left and right core members 12 and 13 having front fixing ends 12a and 13a to be fixed to the front of a child seat 5 and back fixing ends 12b and 13b to be fixed to the back of the child seat 5, and formed with a material capable of being elastically deformed to delineate an upward dilating curve; and a cover body 15 stretched in a longitudinal direction over the left and right core members 12 and 13 with at least a transparent window interposed between the left core member 12 and the right core member 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
