Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the high-temp. compressive strength of a sintered alloy of powder obtd. by almost uniformly dispersing a fine oxide in a matrix of a Cr-based metal by mechanical alloying.

CONSTITUTION: This alloy has a structure consisting of particles arranged in a certain direction. The structure is formed by filling powdery starting material into a steel can and carrying out degassing, hermetical sealing and hot extrusion in an extrusion ratio of ≥26.4. Various effects such as the improvement of durability and the reduction of maintenance are ensured.
