To provide a crabbing basket directly connected to a rod and capable of fishing a crab in the same touch as that on the hooking of a fish, while a conventional crabbing basket is sunk on a sea bottom for a long time and is hence inconvenient due to the long time.

A metal fitting (7) is connected to the tip of a fishing line extended from a rod, and a bait is placed in the crabbing basket. The crabbing basket is sunk on a sea bottom. Since only a net is disposed between parts (4) and (5), the parts (4) and (5) are overlapped in a flat state. Thereby, a crab can simply contact with the bait. When the crab contacts with a bait bag (2), the rod is vibrated. When the crab basket is pulled up, the part (4) is lifted with lines (8). Therefore, the crabbing basket is restored to the original shape. The crab is caught by the net, and can not escape.
