Abstract:
To suppress crack growth.SOLUTION: A stop hole 8 is provided at a position corresponding to a tip of a crack 2 at a position where the crack 2 of a metal object occurs, and a pair of mounting grooves 4a, 4b extending outward from a position along a diameter direction of the stop hole 8 intersecting with a direction in which the crack 2 extends on a peripheral wall of the stop hole 8 is provided. Each of the mounting grooves 4a, 4b is formed in a shape including a widened portion 11 in which a groove width w1 of an opening 10 that opens to the peripheral wall of the stop hole 8 is set smaller than the diameter of the stop hole 8, and having a groove width w2 larger than the groove width w1 of the opening 10 at a position outside the peripheral wall of the stop hole 8. Portions 5a and 5b near both ends of the insertion member 3 having a shape in which the plate thickness of the portions 5a, 5b near both ends is larger than the plate thickness of a central portion 6 are inserted into the inside of each of the mounting grooves 4a, 4b, and are adhered and fixed to form a crack growth control structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
