Abstract:

To obtain a cracking classifier which can crack efficiently agglomerates such as casting sand and also can separate efficient metal pieces or the like contained in the casting sand.

The cracking classifier includes a cracking means 7 arranged on a screen 5 of a shaking sieve 3 and for cracking an object to be cracked moving on the screen 5. The cracking means 7 comprises a columnar cracking rod 9 cracking an object to be cracked, and a rod housing frame 11 housing the cracking rod 9, and is configured such that an object to be cracked moves on the screen 5 and is introduced into the inside of the rod housing frame 11 and cracked by the cracking rod 9.
