Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mitigate a problem of trim, stability and outreaching due to hoisting a heavy object.
CONSTITUTION: A crane barge 1 is landed on the water, to provide protruded floats 2, formed in a shape of protruding to both sides from a ship width in a hull central part so as to be positioned upward from a draft line in a no-load condition, in a bow part 1a of the crane barge 1. Thus by this protruded float 2, bow trim caused by hoisting a heavy object can be reduced, and a counter ballast amount, previously generating stern trim, can be reduced.
