PURPOSE: To provide a crane boom provided with a boom rest with which the crane boom can be landed, in the case where a jib or an auxiliary jib as a crane front is installed, without damaging the front, and which will not interfer with a hook overwind preventing device.

CONSTITUTION: A guide 3 is fixed at a tip of a crane boom 1, and the guide 3 has a pin hole 3a for installing a boom rest 2. The boom rest 2 is installed to be freely slidable up and down along the guide 3. The boom rest 2 has a guide hole 2a and plural positioning pinholes 2b in parallel to length of the guide hole 3a, and by inserting a pin 4 after setting the pin hole 3a and the pin hole 2b, the boom rest 2 is selectively supported to the guide 3 at a set position and a storage position.
