PURPOSE: To provide a crane centering device which can eliminate a fear to move a heavy article suddenly, and can reduce the repairing time necessary to repair a twisting and the like of a metal mold.
CONSTITUTION: The housing 24 of a crane centering device is installed magnetically to a sheave 11 by a magnet plate, the looseness of a wire rope 10 is eliminated by the hook 12 of the sheave 11, and when the hanging center of a crane K and the center of an upper mold W1 are not coincident, and the inclination of the sheave 11 exceeds a tolerable scope at that time, a power feeding circuit composed of a ring plate for holder pendulum communication is made in a continuety condition, and an alarm lamp is lighted so as to give a warning to a worker that the inclination of the sheave is more than the tolerance. Consequently, a fear of sudden movement of the upper mold W1 when the upper mold is wound up by a winch 8 can be eliminated, and the generation of a twisting and the like in the metal mold can be prevented.
