Abstract:
To provide a fitting structure of a crank angle sensor that can restrain the crank angle sensor from being vibrated and deformed by vibration of an internal combustion engine, and can stably fit the crank angle sensor to the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In a fitting structure of a crank angle sensor 36, a boss part 37 fitted with the crank angle sensor 36 is provided in a chain cover 16. The chain cover 16 comprises a bottom wall 16c extending in the width direction of the chain cover 16, a right side wall 16a extending upward from one end 16d in the width direction of the bottom wall 16c, and a boss part 16C provided in a lower part of the right side wall 16a, and fastened to a cylinder block 11 by a bolt 34E comprising a center axis 34e parallel to a crankshaft 11S. An upper end 37a of the boss part 37 is located above the center axis 34e of the bolt 34E. A lower end 37b of the boss part 37 is located below the center axis 34e of the bolt 34E.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
