Abstract:
To provide assistance of pedalling starting load at the start of pedaling a bicycle with pedaling force by using a timing belt with a mobile weight.SOLUTION: A load during pedaling can be reduced by using a pedal (1) integrated with a shaft of a bicycle pedal and timing pulleys (2,3,4) and hooking a timing belt such that a pedal-side pulley (2) also makes one rotation when a crank makes one rotation to generate motive power to rotate the belt, and by constant movement of weight position and rotation cycle by a timing belt with a weight (9) through the angle of a crank arm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
