Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crank handle for opening and closing a valve which can be safely operated.SOLUTION: A crank handle for opening and closing a valve includes a rotating shaft 41 for rotating a flexible shaft, a support plate 42 for rotatably supporting the rotating shaft, and an arm 43 which takes a first position and a second position to the support plate. The arm is connected with the rotating shaft when the arm is in the first position, and the arm and the rotating shaft are disconnected and the rotating shaft is freely rotated when the arm is in the second position. When opening/closing of the valve is completed, the arm is moved to the second position, and thereby, the rotating shaft is freely rotated. Accordingly, reverse rotation torque of the flexible shaft is eliminated, and it is possible to prevent damage to an operator caused by reverse rotation of the arm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
