Abstract:
PURPOSE:To permit the continuously variable transmission with a simple apparatus by varying the stroke amount by varying the amount of eccentricity of a shaft by varying the position of the acting point of a crank in a crank mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The captioned continuously variable transmission is constituted of a driving system A having a crank mechanism, trailing system B having a unidirectional clutch function, and a connecting rod C for connecting the both A and B. One edge of the connecting rod C is connected in turnable ways with an eccentric shaft P as the acting point of a crank, and the other edge is connected to the trailing system B by a rack and pinion mechanism, permit ting power transmission. The above-described eccentric shaft P is constituted so as to be shiftable in the radial direction by a servomechanism built in the driving system A. Said servomechanism is constituted so that the eccentric shaft P is shifted in the radial direction through a feeding screw mechanism (d) by the revolution of an electric servo (m).
