The crank drive comprises a one-piece crankshaft (2) and one-piece connecting rods (3, 5). These are threaded over the shaft and fit on to ball bearings (6, 13) mounted on it. Independent claims are included for: (A) a kit for assembling the crank drive; (B) a method for assembling IC engines including the crank drive; and (C) a plant for assembling the crank drive.
