Abstract:
To provide a crank mechanism which reduces the partial wear of a plurality of rolling bodies permitting the relative movement of a first direction supporting member and a second direction supporting member.SOLUTION: A crank mechanism 1 is provided between a moving body 2 reciprocating in a first direction and a crank shaft 3 freely rotating, and mutually converts reciprocating motion of the moving body 2 and rotary motion of the crank shaft 3. The crank mechanism 1 is equipped with a first direction supporting member 4 which integrally moves with the moving body 2 and reciprocates in the first direction, a second direction supporting member 8 rotatably supported by a crank pin 16 of the crank shaft 3, and a plurality of rolling bodies 14 disposed between the first direction supporting member 4 and the second direction supporting member 8, and permitting the relative movement of the first direction supporting member 4 and the second direction supporting member 8 in a second direction. The plurality of rolling bodies 14 respectively has the same circumferential length that is at least a half or less of a stroke S1 in the second direction of the second direction supporting member 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
