PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crank shaft manufacturing method which can suppress phase shift of a crank shaft material.SOLUTION: A crank shaft manufacturing method using a crank shaft mirror 1 comprises: a process for determining a phase of a crank shaft material 2 using first and second phase claws 54a and 54b; a process for cutting second to fifth crank journals J2-J5 and first to fourth crank pins P1-P4 of the crank shaft material 2 using first and second cutters 20 and 21; a process for retreating the first and second phase claws 54a and 54b; and a process for cutting a first crank journal J1 of the crank shaft 2 using the second cutter 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
