Abstract:
To provide a crank shaft capable of improving fuel consumption while suppressing uneven wear of a crank journal.
A crank shaft has a crank journal 113 held by a pair of opposed crank arms. The crank journal 113 has a first pressure receiving portion 15 positioned at a crank pin side of each crank arm, a second pressure receiving portion 17 positioned at a counter weight side of each crank arm, and recessed portions 19 respectively positioned between the pressure receiving portions 15, 17, and extending in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral face.
