PURPOSE: To reduce the weight of a crankshaft and improve the weight balance by constituting the main and subshaft parts and the crank pin part of a compressor from separate tubular members and setting the quantity of eccentricity of the crank pin to a desired value and integrally jointing these members.
CONSTITUTION: A crankshaft 1 is constituted of the main and subshaft parts 2 and 3 having the flanges 2f and 3f, and a crank pin part 4. The crank pin part 4 is formed into cylindrical body, and the both edge surfaces are arranged so as to be opposed to the flange parts 2f and 3f, and the joint surface parts 5 are jointed through the frictional press joint, etc. Then, a supposed line represented part 1 is cut to form a crankshaft 1. Since tubular members can be used for all the parts of the crankshaft by this manufacturing method, the weight can be reduced, and the weight balance can be improved, and the vibration of the crankshaft can be suppressed. Further, the quantity of eccentricity of a crank pin can be easily set to an arbitrary value.
