Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for performing crash simulation for a two-wheeler by using a virtual model of a dummy doll developed for a four-wheeler.
SOLUTION: A three-dimensional dummy model acquired by simulating accurately the dummy doll developed for the crash simulation for the four-wheeler is stored in a dummy model storage part 10. A dummy model generation part 11 for the two wheeler generates a dummy model for the two-wheeler wherein main opening parts are covered with shell elements based on data inputted from an input operation part 12 and the dummy model for the four-wheeler. Various conditions to be set beforehand when performing the crash simulation are inputted from a test condition input part 13. A simulation execution part 14 executes the crash simulation to the dummy model for the two-wheeler based on the inputted test conditions.
