Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a crawler drive device.SOLUTION: A crawler drive device 7 drives a drive wheel 2 of a crawler type travel device 1 in which a crawler 5 is extended between the drive wheel 2 and a driven wheel 3. The drive wheel 2 is driven by an electric motor 12 via a reduction gear 13. The crawler drive device includes a brake device 14 for braking the drive wheel 2. The reduction gear 13 is constituted of a composite reduction gear combined with a traction drive reduction gear and a cycloid reduction gear, or the cycloid reduction gear single unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
