Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler tractor which includes a compact transmission case in a crosswise direction.SOLUTION: A crawler tractor 1 is swivel-driven in which power transmitted from an engine 3 through a transmission case 5 to a front drive axle 6, and output from a continuously variable transmission 81 for turning attached to the front drive axle 6 is combined and transmitted to a crawler type travel device 2. A continuously variable transmission 65 for going straight is arranged at the transmission case 5, a hydraulic pump 66 and a hydraulic motor 67 are serially disposed on a pump shaft 64 in the continuously variable transmission 65 for going straight, a motor shaft 68 to be an output shaft of the continuously variable transmission 65 for going straight is disposed on the pump shaft 64, and power is transmitted from the motor shaft 68 through a forward/backward travel switching device 70 and a sub-transmission 74 to the front drive axle 6 including the continuously variable transmission 81 for turning to drive the crawler type travel device 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
