Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler type magnetic travelling device having such high travelling performance that it is capable of turning without damaging a travelling surface.
SOLUTION: As a travelling device, that comprising crawlers A, B connected to each other by a car main body 31 of a connection device 30, etc., in which a chain to drive rotation of a side plate and a magnet is of a flexible constitution is used. Travelling is performed by attraction of connected magnets to a travelling surface, and in turning of the travelling device, the crawlers A, B are separately adjustable for their steering speed and bending angle, so in the case of turning when the crawler A is on the inner side, turning can be performed as the travelling device by setting travelling speed of the crawler A lower and that of the crawler B on the outer side higher. By rotating a handle 33 in the turning direction at the time of turning, the travelling device can be moved in a turning direction about a support point 32a of an arm 32 at a tip part of each crawler A, B.
