Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler type robot capable of reducing energy loss when rotary torque is transmitted to a crawler belt from a worm.SOLUTION: A crawler type robot 1 comprises: a frame in which, a crawler belt core part 2b is formed on a wall part which forms a hollow hole 2a; a rotary torque generation part 3; a worm 4 which rotates around a central shaft C by the rotary torque, and on which a worm tooth part 41 is formed; and a crawler belt 5 which is wound around the crawler belt core part 2b, in which plural protruded crawler belt tooth parts 51 which may engage to the worm tooth part 41, are formed on an outer peripheral face, one of the crawler belt tooth parts 51 contacts and engages with the worm tooth part 41 on its tooth part contact plane 51a, thereby rotating following to rotation of the worm 4. The tooth part contact plane 51a of the crawler belt tooth part 51 is configured so that, an advance angle θb which is an angle to a width direction of the crawler belt 5 becomes larger as going to a tooth tip end 51aa side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
