To resolve a problem of a conventional crawler vehicle wherein a ground contact face of a crawler shoe is worn or a surface of an asphalt road surface, a concrete road surface or the like is peeled and damaged due to large frictional resistance caused between the ground contact face of the crawler shoe and the ground during steering.

When a turning moment acts on a lower roller 11, a link 19 moves in the direction of the turning moment along with the lower roller 11. At this point, a triangular member 20 with a vertex part swingably supported by the link 19 by a pin 22 is pushed by the link 19 and a base part rolls on a top face of the crawler shoe 18. Consequently, a position of the link 19 becomes higher with respect to the crawler shoe 18, and a vehicle body is lifted. When the vehicle body is lifted, the grounding frictional resistance with the ground becomes smaller in a crawler shoe 18 beneath a link 19 carrying no lower roller 11, and it is moved in the direction steered by a steering system by elastic restoring force of a spring 24.
