PURPOSE: The titled cleaning agent, consisting of an ionic surfactant, silicic acid anhydride and water-soluble polyalkylene glycol, and obtained by incorporating the silicic acid anhydride with the above-mentioned glycol in specific amounts in a specified proportion, and having good usability with little viscosity change by temperature change.

CONSTITUTION: A creamy skin cleaning agent containing an ionic surfactant, silicic 1W15wt% silicic acid anhydride [component (A)] and a water-soluble polyalkylene glycol at 100:1W1:1 weight ratio of the component (A) to the water- soluble polyalkylene glycol. One or two or more of any anionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants or combination thereof may be used as the ionic surfactant, and the amount thereof to be incorporated is preferably within 5W50wt% range. Ultrafine particulate silicic acid anhydride powder of high purity is preferred for the component (A). Polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene cetyl ether, etc., may be used as the component (B).
