PURPOSE: To obtain a new woven fabric, suitable for a dirt rubbing off towel, new even in the design and usable as a bed sheet or a bed cover.

CONSTITUTION: This crepe striped woven fabric is obtained by floating plural warp yarns 13 at a prescribed interval in the weft yarn direction among many warp yarns 12 and 13 constituting a woven fabric body 11 between prescribed ground weft yarns 41 and 42 from the woven fabric body 11, weaving plural pattern weft yarns 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 containing low shrinkable yarns 23 having lower shrinkability than that of ground weft yarns 40 between floated parts 14a and 14b floated from the woven fabric body 11, forming pique woven parts 15, raised from the woven fabric body 11 and connected in the weft yarn direction, shrinking the ground weft yarns 40, developing a difference (d) in shrinkability thereof between the low shrinkable yarns 23 and the ground weft yarns 40, meandering the pique woven parts 15 from the ground weft yarns 40 by the difference (d) of the shrinkability thereof and forming a curved line pattern by the meandering.
