To provide a crime prevention strap buzzer which is attached to a carried article so as to be usually used as a strap and to generate an alarm sound to surroundings by easy handling in an emergency meeting a molester or violation.

This crime prevention strap buzzer is constituted of an alarm generating means 3 to be actuated by electric current from a battery B, an actuating member 7 comprising a strap member usually stored bent, a switch 5 connected to the actuating member 7 for power supply to the alarm generating means 3 from the battery B, a misoperation preventing means 6 pressed against the switch 5 to give suitable movement resistance against the switch 5, a strap S connected to one end of the actuating member 7, and an engaging strap 2 comprising a ring strap member for attaching the crime prevention strap buzzer to a prescribed carried article and to be connected to the other end of the actuating member 7. The actuating member 7 is made into a straight linear form by pulling the strap S and the switch 5 is turned on thereby.
