Abstract:

To provide a crimp terminal capable of improving electrical connectivity and mechanical connectivity.

A wire barrel part 10 for crimping core wires 102 of a covered electric wire 100 is constituted of a barrel bottom part 11 on which the core wires 102 are placed, and wire barrel pieces 12 extending from both sides in the width direction Y of the barrel bottom part 11. The barrel bottom part 11 has a plurality of serrations 20 which are formed in groove shape in the width direction Y and arranged with a prescribed spacing in the length direction X. On nearer the base end side than the serrations 20, a core wire holding part 10b is formed which holds a conductor part with the barrel bottom part 11 and the wire barrel piece 12. The core wire holding part 10b has a conductor holding force improvement structure for improving a conductor holding force to hold the core wires 102.
