Abstract:

To provide a crimp tool requiring no rivet-tightening work, and a method for assembling such a crimp tool.

The crimp tool comprises a pair of plates (171), which form a movable handle (17) of the tool, fixed jaws (2), and a pair of frame plates (180), which composes a fixed handle (18) of the tool. The tool also includes movable jaws and force conveyance equipment (10, 11), designed to drive the movable jaws to and from the direction of the fixed jaws. The rim portion of the pair of the frame plates (180) is closely received in the grooves (144, 146) of the frame shell (140), and the rim of the plates (171) of the movable handle (17) is closely received in a groove (43) of the shell (40) for the movable handle (17), to be juxtaposed and held.
