Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp yarn for a carpet, capable of restraining the occurrence of a vertical streak frequent in a single-color cut pile carpet and having covering performance, and a carpet using the crimp yarn.
SOLUTION: In this crimp yarn for a carpet, three or more groups of multi- filaments having a Y-shaped section are mixed between two groups, at least either deformation degree or single yarn size of which is arbitrary. The polymer constituting the crimp yarn does not depend on the group, but the same. This carpet uses the crimp yarn for the carpet as a pile constituting the carpet.
