To provide a crimping tool which can form a recess having a width narrower than the width of each pinching section thereof, in part of a crimping object.
The crimping tool has a pair of rod bodies 12a, 12b having the pinching sections 15a, 15b, respectively, and at least one of the pinching sections 15a has a protrusion 16a extending in a longitudinal direction of the rod body 13a. The other pinching section 15b has a groove formed therein in a direction almost orthogonal to the protrusion 16a. The rod bodies 12a, 12b pairing up each other are rotatably pivoted on an axial portion 11 as the center. When the pinching sections 15a, 15b pinch the pinching object and carry out rotation about the axial portion 11, the crimping object can have a recess 21 formed only in part thereof by the protrusion 16a of the pinching section 13a.
