PURPOSE: To absorb moisture of crops and move them to a drying device to eliminate an irregular distribution of moisture and further to promote saving of energy as well as promoting of drying operation by a method wherein some dried shells are mixed with crops having high moisture or irregular distribution of moisture and aeration storing or circulation drying is carried out.

CONSTITUTION: An aeration chamber 4 and a drying chamber 5 are defined by an interface of an aeration panel 3 within a drying machine 2. Some crops passed through slant air injection holes 7 and stored statically within a drying chamber 5 are dried to a predetermined moisture content under an aeration action got from the aeration chamber 4 and in simultaneous with this operation, they are stored. When the crops are discharged, a shutter 8 of a discharging trough 6 is opened. A lifter 9 may supply some crops to supply some dried crops from a dried shell transporting device 10. The dried crops are not passed through just below a receiving hopper 12, but they are rotated and transported to one side as it remains placed on a circumferential surface and then the demoistured and dried crops are selected by a rotating shieve 13.
