Abstract:
Provided is a closer that can prevent a slider and a case from accidentally being disengaged. A slider (7a) is movably provided in a case (6). An engagement unit (11a) that engages with the case (6) is provided in the slider (7a) so that the slider (7a) is held in a standby position against the biasing force of a spring (8a). In addition, a control unit (13a) is provided in the slider (7a) to disengage the engagement unit (11a) and the case (6) by being pressed by a trigger (3a) and moved. The control unit (13a) prevents the engagement unit (11a) from disengaging from the case (6) in the initial position in which the control unit (13a) is not pressed by the trigger (3a). A gap (34) is provided between the control unit (13a) and the engagement unit (11a) so that the control unit (13a) and the engagement unit (11a) do not move in conjunction with each other even when the control unit (13a) moves a prescribed distance from the initial position by being pressed by the trigger (3a).
