Abstract:
To provide a cross arm which can be used in a form the same as that of a conventional cross arm and which can prevent birds from nesting.SOLUTION: A cross arm 1 which is used for laying electric wires and cables, etc., and which is used while being attached to a power pole, includes an arm part 11 having a device attachment portion 23 to which a device, a tool, and hardware are attached, and a pole metal-fitting attachment part 31 to which a pole metal-fitting for fixing the cross arm 1 to a power pole is attached. The arm part 11 has a cross section having an upwardly protruding shape. The pole metal-fitting attachment part 31 has a cross section having a rectangular shape. The arm part 11 has a flat upper surface 15 the width of which is narrower than that of a bottom surface 16, and the upper surface 15 serves as the device attachment portion 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
