PURPOSE: To provide a cross coil type measuring instrument which comprises an instrument main body and a shield case enclosing the main body, both integrally held on a holding plate, and whose assembling property can be enhanced without varying its projected area.
CONSTITUTION: An attaching hole 14 having a recessed step 15 on the side wall of its inner periphery is formed in the bottom face of a coil bobbin 1 and a claw 16 is formed integrally with a lower cover 12, and is inserted into the attaching hole 14 of the coil bobbin 1 via a hole 6b formed in the bottom face of a shield case 6, is elastically deformed and engaged in the recessed step 15 formed in the attaching hole 14, so as to hold the coil bobbin 1 and the shield case 6 integrally on the lower cover 12.
