Abstract:
To provide a cross-coupling reaction method in which various kinds of compounds can be used as starting materials, and a reaction product can be obtained in a short time and at a high yield, and a novel compound obtained by the method.SOLUTION: A cross-coupling reaction method in which a compound (I) expressed by formula (I) and a compound (II) expressed by formula (IIa) or the like are reacted at least in the presence of a metal catalyst, a base, and an unsaturated hydrocarbon compound, and under the condition that the abundance of organic solvent is 0.7 mL or less per total 1 mmol of the compound (I) and the compound (II), and the temperature is 60 to 500°C. A1-Xm(I) (in the formula, A1 denotes an m-valent aromatic hydrocarbon group or the like, X denotes each independently a leaving group, m denotes a number of X, which is an integer of 1 or more) A2-Yn(IIa) (in the formula, A2 denotes an n-valent aromatic hydrocarbon group or the like, n denotes a number of Y, which is an integer of 1 or more, and Y denotes each independently -B(OR1)(OR2) or the like).SELECTED DRAWING: None
