PURPOSE: To provide the titled rolling mill which charges the crossing angle of rolling rolls at the centers of the rolls in a rolling mechanism in which the roll axes are inclined and crossed with each other by supporting the screw-yoke pair of the spherical chocks of the respective rolls by a yoke centering mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: The rolling down forces of the rolls 1 is borne by the spherical chocks 2, 2', yokes 3, 3' and screws 6, 6' in a rolling roll mechanism in which the rolls have an angle γ of inclination with the pass line when viewed from the side faces and are crossed δ with each other relative to the pass line. the crossing angle α is changed by the reversible motion while the roll 1 gap is adjusted by the advance and retreat at a synchronous speed of the screws 6, 6'. The fulcrums 10, 10 of the yoke centers 4 connecting the centers 9, 9' of the chocks 2, 2' and the yokes 3, 3' make parallelogram motion and the centers of the rolls 1 are invariable in position even if the angle α is changed. The rolling gap adjustement is therefore extremely slight even if the angle α is changed and the roll adjustment is made easy in short time.
