Title:
CROSS POLARIZED WAVE INTERFERENCE COMPENSATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3169646
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the cross polarized wave interference compensation device in which a correct tap coefficient is obtained even when the random performance of a reception code is deteriorated and there takes place a deviation in the result of correlation thereby giving useless interference noise even when no cross polarized wave interference is in existence.
CONSTITUTION: Moving means circuits 41-43 using only the total sum of newest L bits are employed for an averaging circuit averaging the result of correlation and outputting a tap coefficient in a transversal filter control 103 being a component of the cross polarized wave interference compensator. Thus, even when a deviation resulting from the random property of codes is caused in the result of correlation, the deviation is not accumulated because only the newest L bits are used and a tap coefficient output sufficiently close to a true tap coefficient is obtained.
