To provide a cross-sectionally circular rail type linear carrier simplifying a rail structure of a carrying track to reduce construction precision and a construction burden thereof, capable of smoothly carrying with a reduced carrying noise, and easily realizing an arrangement layout of a three-dimensional carrying path at a low cost.

This linear carrier has roller units 14 in both side parts of a carrier carriage 12, while the roller unit 14 has upper rollers 14a rolling and traveling on an upper peripheral face of a cross-sectionally circular pipe rail 13 in contact with the rail 13, side rollers 14b rolling and traveling on a side peripheral face of the rail 13 in contact with the rail 13, and a lower roller 14c rolling and traveling on a lower peripheral face of the rail 13 in contact with the rail 13. Thereby, the carrier carriage 12 installed with a tray 11 for a carried article is smoothly carried and traveled on a pair of the rails 13 laid in parallel on the carrying track by drive force of a linear drive mechanism.
