PURPOSE: To adjust an inclination angle and a crossing angle in case of a cross type inclined rolling by forming a chock of one end of an inclined roll shaft to a spherical surface, supporting it so as to be changeable by a yoke, and supporting a chock of the other end so as to be movable far and near in the yoke.

CONSTITUTION: Chocks 1j, 1k are provided on both ends of a roll shaft of an inclined roll 1l, respectively, and it is racked axially on receiving seats 82, 83 of a yoke 8 through the chocks 1j, 1k. The yoke 8 itself is supported by a cradle 3. The chock 1k is formed to a spherical surface, and the chock 1j is formed to a box type. The inclination angle is changed by rotating the cradle 3. The crossing angle is changed by rotating the spherical chock 1k in the receiving seat 83, fixing a base seat 84 required for maintaining the roll shaft at a prescribed angle to match an inclination of the roll shaft, in the receiving seat 82, and setting optionally an angle of the roll shaft. When further changing the crossing angle, it is executed by replacing the base seat 84.
