To provide a cylinder lubricant composition for crosshead diesel engines, which particularly excels in saving of fuel consumption while maintaining excellent heat resistance and seizure resistance.
The lubricant composition comprises a lubricant base oil composed of a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil, (A) a metal based cleaner, (B) an ashless dispersing agent, and optionally at least one of (C) a viscosity index improver, (D) zinc dithiophosphate, (E) an organic molybdenum compound, and (F) a sulfur-based extreme pressure agent except the zinc dithiophosphate and the organic molybdenum and has a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of ≥12.6 mm
