Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in solvent resistance and chemical resistance, also excellent in stability of the formula liquor prepared therefrom and washability/removability of the gelled film thereof, by including a polyurethane resin containing hydrolyzable silyl groups and a polyurethane resin free from any hydrolyzable silyl group and an organic solvent.
SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including (A) a polyurethane resin (e.g. about 5,000-500,000 in number-average molecular weight) containing hydrolyzable silyl groups on the molecular chain and/or ends [e.g. hydrosilyl, halosilyl of the formula (R1 is an alkyl, aryl or the like; R2 is H, a halogen or the like; (a) is 0 or 2)], (B) a polyurethane resin free from any hydrolyzable silyl group (the molecular weight is the same as that of A) in a weight ratio A/B of (1:9) to (9:1) [pref. (2:8) to (8:2)], and (C) 40-5,000 (pref. 100-900) pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of A+B on a solid basis, of an organic solvent (e.g. dimethylformamide).
